The Flaming Star Nebula is located in the constellation of Auriga, approximately 1500 Light Years away. It is believed that the proper motion of the central star can be traced back to the Orion's Belt area. It is about 5 Light Years across. 3 hours 27 minutes exposure at ISO 800 with the Astronomik UHC filter. This was a mixture of 5 and 10 minute exposures, with one 7 minute exposure, testing how long I could expose with this filter. 23-11-14. |
